关志东，男，北京航空航天大学教授，博士生导师，中国复合材料学会常务理事，中国航空学会复合材料专业委员会委员，*科工局高性能碳纤维检测评价中心副主任，北航先进复合材料研究中心副主任，上海飞机制造公司一北航民用飞机复合材料结构制造技术联合工程中心副主任，曾任航空科学与工程学院副院长和飞机系主任等职务。关志东1964年9月出生于沈阳，1986年毕业于西北工业大学飞机系飞机设计专业，1991年和1994年分别获北京航空航天大学飞行器设计与应用力学系飞行器设计专业工学硕士和博士学位。1994年至1996年在北航制造工程系做博士后研究。1999年至2002年在美国Wichita State University国家航空实验室从事复合材料力学研究。曾在沈阳飞机设计研究所结构部和中国国际航空公司机务工程部工作。主持科研课题有自然科学基金、863、民机预研、多项国家重点型号等科研课题，作为课题负责人承担了三项国家973、*973重大基础项目研究工作。科研成果分别获得*科学技术奖进步奖一、二、三等奖。在国内外权威学术期刊发表论文百余篇。研究方向包括复合材料及其结构性能设计与评估、复合材料结构损伤过程模拟及承载能力分析、复合材料制造工艺过程模拟及质量控制、飞行器结构设计、飞行器结构修理。

主讲的本科和研究生课程有结构力学、结构损伤容限和耐久性设计、民用飞机结构与系统、航天器设计及有限元分析等。
